Due to issues involving Andrew Meyer’s litigation, his attorney has requested we hold off broadcast. As this young journalist has hadenough shocks in his life, I see no reason not to comply.
Now that I’ve met Andrew, I can tell you: he’s not some sensationalist fruitcake. He’s a sincere guy with a damn good question: why not count the votes, America? Andrew will be providing on-the-ground reports for us from Florida over the coming election season.

The student shocked by a taser gun last month at the University of Florida while questioning Senator John Kerry will be providing regular reports on election shenanigans for Air America’s ‘Clout.’ The program, hosted by Richard Greene carries the Palast Report weekly. Andrew will be interning with the Palast team as a journalist in training.
Palst is in contact with Kerry’s office to see if the Senator will answer Meyer’s question on air – without an armed guard.

WARNING! There are cranks and kooks and crazies out there on the Internet who say that George Bush lost the 2004 election, like one titled, “Kerry Won” published on the TomPaine.com web site two days after the election. I wrote it.
On November 11, a week after TomPaine.com published it, I received an e-mail from The New York Times Washington Bureau. Hot on the investigation of the veracity of the vote, The Times reporter asked me pointed questions:

The US Civil Rights Commission has asked Greg Palast to testify before a special commission hearing Thursday, July 15th at 11am, to discuss his continuing investigative reports for BBC Television on Florida and other states’ cleansing of Black voters from voter rolls.
