Palast will speak immediately following the premiere of the new #TrumpStoleIt update of his hit film, The Best Democracy Money Can Buy.
The film features Willie Nelson, Rosario Dawson, Ice-T … and Kansas’ own Kris Kobach as the mastermind of the scheme that stole the 2016 election – and could steal 2018 and 2020.
In the film, investigator Palast confronts Kobach with documents from Kobach’s secret files — a list of 7.2 million voters that Kobach claims are potential criminal double voters.
“…a wild and woolly ride, peppered with moments of wry sardonic humor that would make Dashiell Hammett smile. There’s so much more I’d love to tell you about what Palast dug up. But then I’d have to kill you. So you’ll just have to see The Best Democracy Money Can Buy for yourself.”
In addition, Palast will announce that he and Kansas attorney Robert Eye have notified Kobach that they will be suing him under the National Voter Registration Act unless he follows the law and turns over the names of Kansans he’s purged from voter rolls. The names were originally demanded by Palast and the Kansas ACLU.
Media are invited to interview Palast in the week before his appearance — about his lawsuit against Kobach, his film and his Wichita appearance — by contacting Ilene Proctor at [email protected] or (310) 858-6643 in Los Angeles.
