Now, you may or may not be shocked to learn that there is a real threat to the 2024 election. But I can guarantee, you will be shocked by the film that exposes, in no uncertain terms, the full extent of that threat.
The film is called Vigilantes, Inc.: America’s New Vote Suppression Hitmen, and it follows the heroic investigative reporter Greg Palast as he uncovers a group of 40,000 MAGA volunteers whose efforts have already challenged the voting rights of 851,000 eligible voters, with a goal of 2 million by November 5.
And nearly all of them are voters of color.
Of course, all of this is just a new form of an old Jim Crow tactic, first used in 1946 by the Ku Klux Klan to deny ballots to Black voters. Only this time they are using AI tricks and disinformation to deny ballots to Black, Hispanic and Asian American citizens.
There is so little time left before the election, so I urge you to get involved by joining this heroic effort to expose voter suppression by going to WatchVigilantesInc.com and watch the film at no cost.
And remember, one vote can change an election. And one heart with courage is a majority. Thanks again.
A note from Greg Palast:
Through the generosity of donors to the Palast Investigative Fund we are able to offer this film for free streaming — and have been able to launch screenings in schools and churches from Georgia to Wisconsin, for which we do not charge any fee.
But we can’t keep this going for free — especially given the hundreds of requests to screen the movie with our partners Black Voters Matter Fund, NAACP Georgia, Rev. Jesse Jackson’s Rainbow PUSH, and the Southwest Voter Registration and Education Project. And on October 2, the 650,000-member Progressive Democrats of America will host a free on-line showing — I’ll join the Q&A after.
This is the moment: The political parties are spending billions to win over voters. But that doesn’t count if the ballots don’t get counted because of vigilante challenges.
HELP US WARN VOTERS AT RISK IN SWING STATES.
Please make your tax-deductible donation to help our work. It’s not just a movie, it’s a movement. The Palast team has issued reports (in Rolling Stone, New York Times and more), testified in federal lawsuits on behalf of the NAACP and Rainbow PUSH (we beat Brian Kemp in court!), sent out warning post cards to threatened voters, held voter education seminars, even issued a comic book. That ain’t cheap, my friends.
We have just five weeks to warn 2 million voters who will be shocked to find their ballot challenged and tossed out.
Join the Palast team…and get a personalized, signed DVD of Vigilantes Inc.
Or simply back the film for any amount.
