Today we commemorate Bloody Sunday. Linda Blackmon Lowry, the youngest marcher, was beaten so badly by cops on the Pettus Bridge, she was put in a hearse, presumed dead. She took me over the bridge with fellow marchers from 1965, Marcia Edwards and Sen. Hank Sanders.
