On last night’s Save Your Vote Special Broadcast Event, actress and Voto Latino co-founder Rosario Dawson had a special message for viewers, encouraging them to watch our award-winning documentary Vigilantes Inc., and visit the site we created with the help of Leonardo DiCaprio, SaveYourVote.org, to learn how to protect their vote.
“I’m so proud to have helped narrate Greg Palast’s film Vigilantes,” said Dawson. “Vigilantes Inc. is such an important film, because it exposes the extremist movement to not only target the most vulnerable communities, but also cheat to win elections.”
The actress, who played Ahsoka Tano in the Star Wars franchise series The Mandalorian, The Book of Boba Fett, and Ahsoka, also encouraged viewers to take steps to protect their vote. “It’s crucial to check your voter registration. Vote early if you can, so that they can’t just force a provisional ballot on you instead, which may not count.”

Dawson ended her message by imploring viewers to “share the link — SaveYourVote.org — with everyone that you know, especially in battleground states. There’s so much at stake. But if we all do our part, we can protect our democracy. Let’s show up, stay engaged, and make every vote count.”
If you missed last night’s Save Your Vote broadcast, which featured an all star cast and was aired on Free Speech TV, you can view it on demand on Act.tv’s YouTube channel.
