Pam Bondi’s Lobbyist Loot Built on Free Market in Human Misery

Fun fact: Look at a map of the Strait of Hormuz. Pam Bondi, Trump-dumped yesterday as US Attorney General, was a highly paid lobbyist for Qatar and Kuwait, not to mention Geo Group, the nation’s top operator of immigrant detention centers (I think we used to call them “prisons”), the cruelty profiteer I exposed years ago in an investigation for The Guardian titled, “Free Market In Human Misery.“

Now that Trump has released Bondi into the wild, she can be subpoenaed to explain her lucrative connections and Trump’s decision, with the bombing of Iran, to Make Qatar Great Again. The curse of my profession, the dying breed of investigative journalists, is that I can’t help but follow the money. And it’s ALWAYS the money.
