Letter From the Front Line

Greg Palast

Mr. Palast,
I read your book The Best Democracy…. back in 2003 as an American soldier stationed in Afghanistan. It changed my life by opening my eyes to the reality of the world I lived in. It inspired more reading on my part and eventually lead to me questioning the things I was being asked to do. Your book sparked a new direction of progressive thought into my life. I have to admit it’s made my life more difficult in some ways, my questioning of and disagreement with Bush’s policies hurt my chances for advancement in military and made it hard for me to live with myself at times. But all and all I would rather be a well informed person than a sheep headed to slaughter.

Thank you for your hard work and i hope to get your last book in the near future.
