Kobach, once thought the obvious successor to Kansas Governor Sam Brownback, is now running neck-and-neck with Jeff Colyer who took over as Governor when Brownback became Trump’s Ambassador for Religious Freedom. (Yes, Trump created that job for Brownback.)
Kobach, I should note, is an owner Minuteman Defense, which plans to make assault rifles. Notably, Kobach, Kansas Secretary of State, says an assault rifle made in his state, if sold in his state, does not have to comply with federal law requiring registration of the weapon.
Kobach, who first Tweeted that the big gun displayed in a town parade this weekend in Shawnee, Kansas, was the real thing. Later his admitted his big gun was a fake.
The clip of Kobach, the Wizard of Crosscheck, is from The Best Democracy Money Can Buy.
