Georgia’s Secretary of State Brad Raffensperger has just announced another “cleansing” of the voter rolls. This time a total of 191,473 voters are set to be purged.
(Sure, you may be able to save your vote if you remember to respond to a mailed notice, which often looks like an easily discarded piece of junk mail — it’s the old purge-by-postcard trick!)
Congratulations to Raffensperger for cleaning the voter rolls whiter than white. We’re going back down to investigate — and YOU can help by making a donation to support our work.
Let’s remember that one of the “inactive“ voters removed in a previous purge was Martin Luther King‘s 92-year-old cousin, Christine Jordan. She looked pretty active to me. Decide for yourself.
