Ok Monty, I'll play your game. Let's take ALL the mine accidents in the US, and then add them to the mine accidents around the world in capitalist countries(China by the way, is by definition capitalist regardless of the color of their flag), particularly countries friendly to the US and with mines owned by US corporations. Are you sure you want to go there?

If those wall street types had their way we'd be killing as many as the Chinese by next week. They only care about the bottom line, like their Chinese CEO bretheren, and anything, including safety, that gets in the way is only an obstacle to be overcome.

If you want to hurt the Chinese where it counts, don't shop at Walmart.

Montgomery, how ironic you use the word "puerile" in the same post as "Yeah, but China's worse!" Using "so-and-so is worse" as an excuse to ignore bad behavior may have worked in kindergarten, but is hardly of a great country such as ours. And I doubt the fact that there are worse hellholes in the world is much comfort to the dead miners' families.

I see your attacks against another 'rich American', due to the tragedy of the loss of 20-something coal miners in the United States.
What I FAIL to see is your righteous attacks upon the Chinese government-owned coal mines, that are statistically killing almost a THOUSAND miners a year, and have been for the forseeable past 3 decades.
You talk of TWELVE in FIVE YEARS, but these Commie 'COMRADES' kill 243 (TWO HUNDRED FORTY THREE) at a time, quarter-year after FRIGGING QUARTER YEAR!
