In response to Mr. Abraham, sorry you seem to be unhappy with the fact that a brown man has been voted into power in Venezuela. It is really hard however to grasp your objections to sharing the vast oil wealth with the people of Venezuela. For decades, foreign companies pumped oil out of the country and gave little back. If greed overpowered your humanity and the people threw you out of power, who do you have to blame? How can you fault Mr. Chavez with that? If it wasn't him it would be someone else. After watching the documentary, "The Revolution Will Not Be Televised," I wondered why he did just round up all you criminals and shot you.

this uppity brown man has not spent venezuela's oil wealth in venezuela, he's spent it in bolivia nicaragua ecuador, and more obcenely in cuba, i live in venezuela and i can assure you, you have failed to grasp the real situation. i bet you love the fact chavez is seizing profits and properties of foreign oil corporation, i'll have you know then, that he is also trying to seize the propeties of honest hard-working people if they are even slightly above the critical poverty line, because his concept of socialism is that everyone should be "equally poor". And yes, how dare he give away food and bricks, i hope you don't think giving away food and houses for free is how you promote a decent society, it just promotes a society that applauds everything chavez says just so they can get a cheap "present" like a kilogram of black beans or powder milk, or a credit they don't have to pay back. well this was written in 2007, i hope since then you have realized what is really going in venezuela
