Now that previous comment was totally Alarmist.

So, merely saying there's no link between FARC and Chavez, Citing evidence, is the same as saying "I love the FARC". What planet is that logic from?

Wonderful, you now have the option to move to a tropical country either Colombia, Venezuela, or Ecuador and make your dreams come true, join the FARC, via their link in the FARC-EP website, live in a Cave, deal with drugs, and fight the imperialist yankees... also you may find it nice to do some kidnapping and killing of the civil population at this sites.

Also, Adam Isacson of The Center for International Policy thinks that it is likely that there were improper contacts between FARC and members of the Venezualan government.

But Greg, you're only referring to one of the emails here. Douglas Farah of The Washington Post analysed all the emails/documents and concluded that they do indeed suggest that Chavez provided financial support of some sort to FARC; also he claims that there is explicit evidence that FARC assisted and donated money to Correa's 2006 election campaign. So, I hate to say it but there does seem to have been a disturbing relationship between FARC and the governments of Venezuala and Ecuador. Here's a link to Farah's article:
