Douglas Farah of The Washington Post analysed all the emails/documents and concluded that they do indeed suggest that Chavez provided financial support of some sort to FARC; also he claims that there is explicit evidence that FARC assisted and donated money to Correa's 2006 election campaign. So, I hate to say it but there does seem to have been a disturbing relationship between FARC and the governments of Venezuala and Ecuador.
